Based in California, Plan-B emerged in 1991. Headed by Mike Ternasky, the project was spearheaded by pro-skateboarders such as Danny Way, Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, Matt Hensley and Sean Sheffey . The "duke" of skateboarding, Rodney Mullen, joined the team in 1992, becoming the most creative skateboarder of the decade and establishing the brand's reputation. The activity was suspended after the tragic death of Mike Ternasky in a car accident.
It wasn't until 2005 that Plan-B was back in the spotlight, in association with Syndrome Distribution, and accompanied by elite skateboarders such as Pat Duffy and Paul Rodriguez.
