Jart Skateboard is the brainchild of the Iraola brothers from Irun in the Basque Country. Coming from a family involved in the wood industry, the two brothers launched their own board factory in 2001. Since then, Jart has become a recognized brand through hard work and fine-tuning. It has revitalized Spanish skateboarding and become a major figure in European skateboarding. The brand has made a name for itself by sponsoring big-name riders such as Bastien Salabanzi from 2008 to 2012, and more recently the American Ricky Webb, the Spaniard Fran Molina and the Belgian Fries Taillieu. But it's above all the quality of its products that has won over its public and a large number of skaters, as well as its unbeatable prices. It's clearly the skateboard brand with the best quality/price ratio. Its mastery of woodworking is one of the main reasons, and competitors can hardly compete.

The Jart logo symbolizes the environmental values and woodworking expertise of the European brand, as it represents the rings of tree trunks. Jart uses only maple wood from forests where logging is controlled, and always strives to reduce waste as much as possible to minimize the effects of global warming.
