Straight Snowboard

The Slash brand presents the Straight Wide, the first board designed in collaboration with the famous Austrian rider Gigi Rüf, who has also taken part in the Freeride World Tour!

Designed with a classic camber between the feet, add a good rocker in the nose and a lighter rocker in the tail, and we'll call it the BackSeat Camrock ! This camber offers excellent stability and control of the board between the feet and in the tail, easily forgiving edge faults without neglecting buoyancy and maneuverability in powder, and all this without losing its great freeride skills! A good all-rounder, its directional shape, as its name suggests, is specially designed for forward riding, a perfect shape for piste and carving, without neglecting its buoyancy in powder. The set-back position of the feet facilitates curve entry for perfect maneuverability in powder. In terms of construction, the Straight is made from four different types of wood: paulownia,spruce,beech and poplar, creating a highly dynamic, pop-filled core at low weight. With its balanced flex, the Straight will remain stable at high speed and dampen vibrations perfectly, but that doesn't mean it will lose flex in the tips!

Terrain: Versatile - Freeride

Flex: 6/10, A balanced, versatile and forgiving flex, yet stiff enough to be at ease in the park, on the piste or in powder. This is the perfect flex for All-Mountain riding.

Shape : Directional, the binding will be moved slightly backwards for a longer nose and a more forward ride. This is the perfect shape for boards with a freeride appeal, as it will give the board excellent float in powder and increased piste cutting if you carve on piste.

Construction/ Core: Forever Woodcore, four types of wood - paulownia, spruce, beech and poplar - for a highly dynamic, pop-filled core of the highest quality at the lightest weight.

Camber: BackSeat Camrock, classic camber between the feet, plus a good rocker in the nose and a lighter rocker in the tail.

Edges : Diamond Stone Finish, 360° reinforced steel. Reinforced ABS edges

Inserts : 4x2

Sole: Sintered Base, a sintered sole that enhances speed without neglecting durability, requiring less maintenance.
