The Don Xl Tec Surfboard Longboard

The board Torq called The Don XL is a classic from Torq TEC, a high-performance mini longboard with more volume for better paddling and larger body sizes.

In size 8'6" with its 74.7 liters, it's perfect for heavier riders and those who want to get the most out of the waves.

Wave types: 30cm to 2.5m.

Practice level: Intermediate to larger advanced surfers.

Outline: Generous volume with width at the nose for powerful paddling, stability and easy takes offs.

Rocker: Light at the front to medium at the tip for easy gliding and drive.

Concave: Single concave on the front third to double in the middle then vee on the tail to generate drive and support on the rail.

Rails: Fairly round, then more pinched on the back third up to the tail to get through flat sections while retaining support and linking carves.

Tail: Round tail for easy curves and support on more powerful waves.

Drives: Not supplied. Mounting 2 Futures + 1 US box for surfing with 3 (thruster) or 1 daggerboard.

Construction: Torq Tec, EPS foam with Epoxy resin glass and carbon reinforcements on top and bottom. The best weight/strength/performance ratio.
