In order to determine the power of this splitboard, the Burton team took a natural terrain professional and unleashed him completely into the wild, and more specifically into backcountry practice. The result was the Splitboard Flight Attendant! A 100% freeride splitboard with an aerial directional shape and the feel of a freestyle twin. Its design conveys the freedom of untouched, infinite fields and steep mountain corridors that can be found far from resort slopes! It's being compared to the Swiss army knife of outdoor freestyle!

Shape: Directional (taper 10mm), a directional shape designed with a nose slightly longer than the tail to concentrate the pop at the tail for improved flotation in powder snow and on all types of terrain.

Construction/ Core: Core - FSC? Certified Super Fly II? 700G Core with Dualzone? EGD? and Squeezebox, the Super Fly II 700G Core uses solid, lightweight woods to liven up the board without losing strength, while reducing weight. Woodgrain designed with DualZone EGD is positioned along the edges, under the toes and in the heel in two continuous zones perpendicular to the rest of the wood core for improved edge hold and responsiveness.

Camber : Directional CamberA directional profile with camber under both feet for optimum stability in deep turns, combined with a rocker tip for added height to improve floatation.

Sole: Sintered WFOSintered WFO base incorporates a specially formulated wax deep in the pores for a sole that absorbs even more wax and therefore requires less maintenance.

Insert: Split The Channel®, System Made In Burton, the Split The Channel® system is a powerful and fast assembly that will considerably facilitate the adjustment of your splitboard.
