Pg-R Tec Surfboard Shortboard

A fun model from Torq, the PG-R is the board that everyone will be surfing 80% of the time, whether it's for average surfing or for getting in a little barrels. It's the board you leave in your trunk so you never miss a session.

Wave type: 50cm to 1.5m.

Volume: 28.8l

Practice level: In size 5'8", this is a board for intermediate/advanced surfers or light/kids.

Supplied without drifts.

Outline: Generous enough overall volume to deliver a good paddle and easy takes offs.

Concave: Flat on the front third then single concave in the middle to double then vee at the rear to generate drive and support on the rail.

Rocker: Slight rocker at the front and tail to generate speed and get through sections.

Rails: Fairly round, then pinched at the tail to get through flat sections while retaining support and linking carves.

Tail: Wide square tail for maximum glide and easy carving. Carbon reinforcement patch to reduce denting.

Drifts: Not supplied. 5-plug mounting Futures for surfing with 3 (thruster) or 4 (quad) daggerboards.

Construction: Torq Tec, EPS foam with Epoxy resin glass and carbon reinforcements. The best weight/strength/performance ratio. (See diagram)
