Multiplier Tec Surfboard Shortboard

Team Torq & ordinary surfers love the Multiplier in ACT epoxy construction, which is why it's now available in a TEC version.

It remains a high-performance model for catching (multiplying) even more waves.

The Multiplier from Torq Multiplier features the thruster tail of Torq 's high-performance shortboard, with the overall shape of the hybrid for greater versatility and a good grip on more powerful, hollow waves.

Practice level: Advanced to expert surfer. In size 6'0" it is aimed at good surfers or light surfers.

Board delivered without drifts.

Outline: Volume in the front and middle, then a slim, shortboard-style rear end for verticality and good glide.

Rocker: Light on the nose for easy takes off and medium on the tail for surfing even the hollowest waves.

Concave: Single concave at the front to reduce friction between the water and the board, then double concave in the middle of the board and vee at the tail to keep control of your bottom turns and facilitate rail-to-rail transition.

Rails: Fairly round at the nose/mid-tip, then pinched at the tail for good glide and maximum grip.

Tail: Round tail for easy curves and support. Carbon reinforcement patch to reduce denting.

Drifts: Not supplied. 5-plug mounting Futures for surfing with 3 (Thruster) or 4 (Quad) daggerboards.

Construction: Torq Tec, EPS foam with Epoxy resin glass and carbon reinforcements. The best weight/strength/performance ratio.
