The Prodigy 1, sporting the same shape as the famous Prodigy 2, stands out for its impact-resistant design in the parks. Its poplar core is reinforced with sturdy ash wood, while the Micro-Cap Anti-Shatter construction offers additional impact protection. With 2.5 mm XL edges, some 20% thicker than average, this ski is specially designed to withstand violent blows, ensuring exceptional durability.

  • Flex : Moustache Flex (7/10) // This flex is best suited to most skiers. Take advantage of the stability in front and behind the binding zone for solid edge hold. Then we move on to a progressive, soft flex on the nose and tail to easily absorb the various bumps and snow debris the mountain throws at you. This flex allows you to progress and makes it easier to initiate and finish turns.
  • Wood Core : Poplar/ash core // Poplar is a soft, light-colored wood with good flex and pop, as well as great vibration absorption. Ash is a heavier, harder wood that combines well with poplar, providing greater rigidity and durability. This blend offers excellent edge hold on hard snow, a solid platform for big landings, and more than enough pop and flex to unleash your creativity.
  • Construction : Ultra-high-strength edge sandwich construction
  • Sidewalls : Sidewalls are protective strips placed on both sides of the core, between the edge and the topsheet. Sidewalls provide optimum edge hold and stability when the ski is in a curve, and also protect the core, edges and topsheet from impact.
  • Sustainability : Recycled materials // The Faction brand works hand-in-hand with its production partners to reduce the amount of waste it generates. Today, it recycles off-cuts from soles, edges and topsheets for reuse in production, thus reducing its carbon footprint while maintaining the same level of quality and durability.
